Playa de los muertos is a beach right next to a cemetery. There is a tiki bar at the entrance if you want to order some drinks. Sayulita, which is the main beach, is not that comfortable one. Playa de Los Muertos hit the spot for the day. Chairs and umbrellas for the day are also available. You can get
cheap beers and good service here. There are small areas that are marked for swimming and a lifeguard on duty.
Playa La Manzanilla

This is a nice small beach. Families can enjoy it with kids. Children can play around all over the place. The play may not be for those uppity resort tourists. It is located outside of Bucerías.
You can go there with a short drive from downtown PV. The water temperature here is accurate. Tide is gentle and the sand bar stretches out very well.
Some of the restaurants have free parking and sand toys for children. The beach bars provide tables, chairs and an umbrella for their patrons.
